Choose the original game
War Robots is available through Android stores, Apple App Store, MY.GAMES Launcher and Steam, plus PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. War Robots: Frontiers is a separate title; its downloads and account instructions are not interchangeable with this game.
Two meanings of cross-platform play
Matchmaking describes who can share a battle. Account access describes where your saved hangar can be loaded. Official support lists linked Android, iOS and MY.GAMES Launcher progress as portable. Steam-origin progress can leave Steam, but progress created elsewhere cannot move into Steam. Console progress remains separate even when cross-platform battles are enabled.
Pick a practical starting point
If you already have a mobile hangar and want a desktop session, investigate MY.GAMES Launcher before starting a fresh Steam account. If you want to play from your couch, use the PlayStation or Xbox guide and expect a separate console account. For a phone or tablet, start from the official download links for your device.
Keep purchases attached to the right pilot
Check the Pilot ID and platform for the hangar you are buying for. Official support currently excludes console accounts from the MY.GAMES web shop; use the appropriate console purchase route instead. Community events have their own eligibility rules, so check the event before entering.
