Description
Void Shoggoth, Shantak, Urhag and 1100-range vertical oscillation create an incredibly deadly combination. Two battles show just how quickly this setup can dominate the battlefield, including matches before and after the Vector nerf.
I prepared two battles with Void Shoggoth for you. The first was recorded before the Vector nerf, while the second was recorded after the nerf. And there is also a hint about the subject of the next video in the second battle!
Everyone has probably experienced Void Shoggoth by now, either by owning it or by facing the devastating damage it can deal. At first, there was a lot of prejudice against this robot, but it has clearly shown how dangerous it can be.
With 2x heavy Shantak and 2x medium Urhag, combined with a 1100-range vertical oscillation, there isn't much the opponent can do. Its drone abilities, pilot abilities, and specially designed robot ability make Shoggoth extremely deadly.
And the results speak for themselves. We are going to get a large number of kills very quickly, and I honestly don't know how many “Living Legend” announcements you will hear throughout the video.
The Vector nerf is also an important part of these battles. Vector became so dominant that, by the time the nerf arrived through an interim update, many players had already equipped two or three Vectors in their hangars. I had already warned in my first Vector video not to invest too heavily because I expected it to be nerfed.
In my opinion, Omen Vulcan didn't get the attention it needed because of Vector. Based on my 12 years of experience, when a newly released robot doesn't receive the attention it needs, the previous robot can start receiving nerfs. The closest example is Sword Unit, and I think Vector could receive one or two more nerfs.
I always build only one copy of a robot, while continuing to play other robots both for fun and to gain experience.
As for Shoggoth, I personally think it and its weapons should have been nerfed along with Vector. Especially in the second battle, some of the random kills without a specific target don't feel very fair.
And remember the hint for the next video: **Don't play aggressively with Omen Fang!**
