THIS TACTIC MAKES VECTORS REGRET CHASING YOU! The right module can completely change how you play against the current Vector-heavy meta in War Robots.
In this War Robots gameplay, I’m explaining why I prefer Jump Unit or Shieldbreaker instead of Repair Unit on many of my robots — and how these modules fit into my aggressive playstyle.
⚡ Blaze Vector Strategy
When using Vector, I don't focus on fighting enemy Vectors immediately. Instead, I pressure the enemy team by targeting long-range and rocket-weapon robots first.
Those robots can apply dangerous effects such as immobilization and blinding while you're fighting a Vector, making the fight much harder.
🚀 Why I Use Jump Unit
Jump Unit gives me the mobility I need to:
• Escape dangerous situations
• Escape being trapped
• Catch fleeing robots
• Catch faster enemies
• Reach Anaksors before they become a serious threat
This is especially important against Anaksor. You can't damage them before they get within 150m, so Jump Unit gives me the ability to jump toward them, catch them, and destroy them.
I also use the same tactic with Omen Vulcan. Since Vulcan is slow and clumsy, Jump Unit gives it the extra mobility it needs. Instead of allowing a Vector to simply approach, kill you, and escape, you can force the fight to continue.
🛡️ Why Shieldbreaker?
I use Shieldbreaker on fast or flying robots where I don't use Jump Unit. There are plenty of shield-equipped robots in the game, making Shieldbreaker a valuable alternative.
⚙️ Why Not Repair Unit?
Vector is already durable enough to give me the time I need to execute my strategy. I also don't intend to play the entire match with Vector, so I prefer the additional mobility and tactical options provided by Jump Unit.
🚀 Mothership: Stealther
I use Stealther as my mothership. Even after its nerf, I still consider it the best mothership when equipped with the right turrets.
