Description
Omen Fang is a hit-and-run robot built for tactical attacks, not open combat. With Harmattan weapons and the ability to ignore 80% of Titan defense, Fang can be especially dangerous against snipers and weakened Titans.
As the newest robot in the game, Omen Fang is still a robot many players are trying to understand. Unlike Vector, Fang is not designed to stay on the battlefield throughout an entire match. Knowing when to deploy it is critical.
There are two situations where Fang can be extremely effective:
• Wait until the Titans are deployed before bringing Fang into battle.
• In Team Deathmatch, use it early to hunt down sniper robots, especially on large maps.
The first battle shows the downside of using Fang in open combat, where hit-and-run tactics may be the only way to survive but may not provide much benefit to your team. The second battle shows exactly where Fang can shine taking out snipers on large maps.
Equipped with mid-level Harmattan weapons, Omen Fang can deal damage to the new Titan with a single magazine while ignoring 80% of its defense. The remaining 20% is affected like normal weapon damage. Against Titans whose defense has already been reduced, Fang can even destroy them with a single magazine.
That 80% defense penetration is a critical detail and can completely change how you approach Fang.
