Update 12.4 is finally live on PC, and tonight we’re taking it straight into real high-rank battles.
The patch introduces the upcoming Simulation Errors event, beginning September 22, together with the new Dedopali robot, Iaraghi weapon family, Prena drone, new pilots, and new Ultimate equipment including Ultimate Shell, Ultimate Rime, and Ultimate Glacier.
Dedopali brings a very different playstyle built around three autonomous flying pods, Gravity Lift, and emergency Invisibility. The new Iaraghi weapons are 600-meter charge weapons whose stronger shots can bypass defensive systems including Defense Mitigation, Reflectors, and Forcefields.
Update 12.4 is also being used to test major changes to progression. War Robots says selected accounts may receive the new Spare Parts system, which can remove traditional robot and weapon upgrade timers and significantly reduce the time required to finish upgrades. Pixonic describes this as an experimental system that may still be adjusted during the update.
There are technical fixes as well, including corrections involving the Durability Extender turret, Tensor interacting with Raptor’s Gray Damage reduction, event startup issues, and black or gray screens appearing during combat.
But patch notes only tell us what changed on paper.
