Height is a trade-off
The official guide describes Dreadnought as a multi-level battlefield built around a wrecked ship. Elevated positions can give sightlines, but the roof offers little shelter. Getting above a target is not the same as being safe.
Read the next level
Check which entrances and approaches your position can influence. Look for protected movement around the hull rather than assuming every route must cross the top. Plan how to leave an elevated position before you commit to it.
Learn one route at a time
Use the official map overview to identify an approach and its exit. In your next match, observe where enemy fire comes from before changing levels. Review whether your position helped an objective or only provided a distant shot.
