Decide what each robot contributes
Write a short purpose for each slot: quick objective movement, close-range pressure, ranged support or surviving a contested position. These are planning roles, not fixed official classes. A hangar with several useful options gives you more decisions than five copies of the same idea.
Think about the maps and situations you struggle with. A robot that solves a recurring problem can be more useful to you than a popular build that duplicates a role you already handle well.
Match the whole loadout
Check weapon slot compatibility, effective distance, firing rhythm and the robot ability together. A powerful weapon is not automatically a comfortable match for the way your robot moves or survives.
Keep a note of equipment levels when comparing results. Advice based on fully upgraded equipment may not describe your current hangar. Use the live game and official item descriptions for the exact values.
Upgrade deliberately
Choose one reliable build to improve first rather than scattering resources across every new item. Set an upgrade goal and test whether it addresses the problem you identified.
When a balance update arrives, read the affected item changes before rearranging the entire hangar. Check whether your account uses timers or the Spare Parts system, and plan around the upgrade screen you actually have.
