In the video we test the latest mothership against the older ones we already have in the game, this is actually the war robots test server so all the levels are equal making the face-off realistic.
For the comparison, we're using the robot dux equipped with razdor etc (on both sides the same) then we first activate the ability of the dux then activate the mothership and at last firing the weapons.
About the New Roswell Mothership:
The Roswell is a tier 3 mothership manufactured by SpaceTech, featuring a visual design inspired by classic UFO flying saucers complete with smooth metallic plating and glowing cyan energy nodes along its rim.
Rather than focusing on orbital bombardments or static energy shields, the Roswell alters battlefield engagements by taking control of the vertical plane through its unique Elevation ability. When you summon the ship, it locks onto your robot and lifts it straight into the air above the battlefield. This elevation gives you an unobstructed line of sight over buildings, obstacles, and low cover, making it easy to spot and strike targets that would normally be well hidden. While lifted, your robot also receives a twenty five percent damage bonus, allowing you to rain down heavily boosted attacks directly on enemy positions.
Exposing your robot high in the air typically leaves you vulnerable, but the Roswell balances this with a specialized protective mechanism. When the ability is active, any incoming damage your robot receives is converted into damage over time. The mothership pairs this conversion with an eighty percent reduction against damage over time effects, drastically blunting dangerous burst attacks from opposing robots and giving you enough survivability to trade fire safely from the sky. It also operates with a standard one hundred percent charge speed modifier, allowing it to be ready at regular intervals during the match.
Overall, the Roswell is suited for high damage mid range and long range builds that can take full advantage of cleared sightlines. It allows pilots to bypass entrenched enemy defenses, pick off hiding opponents with boosted firepower, and withstand heavy retaliation thanks to its damage converting defense system.
